We are developing our links further with schools in Sierra Leone (teachers have visited in the past), those schools twinned with our city. We are working to develop ourselves as global citizens and how we can help look after our world together.

Two of our Year 6 pupils who are members of the International Pupil Council, (IPC) these pupils meet with others from across the city. They work on the Sustainable Development Goals and Eco work that supports our Eco work across the school community.

We have achieved the Eco Green Flag Status Award for the last three years and archived a distinction this year. Our children are passionate about the care for our environment and have a strong desire to protect our planet. The children meet regularly to focus on their achieving their green goals in order to make a change and help protect the environment. 

 

We also actively encourage children to be active, safe and eco friendly travelling to school and we have achieved the Mode Shift Award.
